Wow, what an exciting finale to our summer term……
Last week, Brewery Tearooms were the lucky recipients of two more prestigious awards, winning for the second year in a row ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ and, second, ‘Best Independent Cafe/Tearoom’ in the Herts Life Food and Drinks Awards. Full report and pictures to follow soon.
Our first ‘pop-up’ supper club last Friday was a sell out and an amazing success. Thanks to everyone who attended and experienced our Spanish Tapas night – we received lovely feedback and plan to run a themed pop-up night each month.
We are now closed for a short summer holiday, but unlike previous years we are only closed for two week and re-open on Tuesday, 15 August at 10.30am.
Thanks again for supporting your local Tearooms and for officially making us the best Independent Tearooms/Cafe in the County.
Happy holidays,
Sarah, Nigel and all the team xx

A Little Bit of History…
-
In 1848, Samuel Wright pledged £3000 for a ‘malting bond’ enabling him to brew soft drinks, minerals and ciders. Thus Wrights Brewery was formed, becoming an important family business and prominent employer in the area. You can see
a copy of this bond in the Tearooms along with photographs of the factory workers from the 1940’s and the fleet of company vehicles parked outside Brewery House.Brewery House has been privately owned for the last 17 years and the current owners, Sarah and Nigel wished to preserve the heritage of the old Brewery and have achieved this by opening up part of the house as The Brewery Tearooms, enabling others to share in its charm.
We're waiting to welcome you to The Brewery Tea Rooms.
