Wishing a very Happy New Year to all of our wonderful friends and customers.

We’re preparing to shake off all the snow and get ready for spring in the Tea Room. The gift shop is having a make-over and being filled with springtime goodies, the kitchen is smelling delicious as jams and chutneys are being prepared and recipes are being tested and the Tea Room is having a spring clean in preparation for welcoming you all back soon.

We will be re-opening on Tuesday 19th February and already we’re looking forward to seeing familiar faces again, and meeting new ones. Come and hide from the chilly weather in the cosy Tea Room with a delicious freshly ground cappuccino and warm home-made scone.

We will be closing for our annual winter break at close of business on Saturday 22nd December, with last luncheon orders being taken at 2pm; and re-opening on Tuesday 19th February. We would love you to join us in the run up to Christmas, for melt-in-the-mouth mince pies, freshly ground coffees, loose leaf teas and our usual festive fayre! We also have our gift shop filled with Christmas gift ideas, stocking fillers and beautiful items to make your home sparkle this Christmas – if you’re stuck for a gift, why not give a Brewery Tea Room Gift Voucher, redeemable in the Tea Room or Gift Shop.

We would like to say thank you to all of you, our loyal customers and friends who help to make the Tea Room the success that it is. We want to say a huge thank you to all our friends and customers for their generosity in our Christmas Raffle. Together, we raised a wonderful £670 which will be donated to Cancer Hair Care (www.cancerhaircare.com) a truly amazing charity helping people deal with hair loss during cancer treatment. It’s because to you, our kind customers, that we can support local causes like this and really make a difference to people’s lives. Thank you.

We’re sure you’re all busy preparing for the festive season, but would love to see you in the run up to Christmas, the tree has gone up and the decorations are out, the tea room is twinkling with candlelight. Delicious mince pies, festive savoury pastries and winter spiced hot drinks are awaiting you!

We will be drawing the lucky winners of the Brewery Tea Room Christmas Raffle this Saturday, 1st December. We’ve got some wonderful prizes on offer, from Lanson Pink Champagne to Beauty Treatments, a VIP Cinema Pass to Afternoon Tea. It’s that time of year again when we invite you to join us for our annual Christmas preview. The event commences at 9.30am on Tuesday 6th November and will continue through into the evening for a candlelit extravaganza with refreshments. We will be offering you complimentary mulled wine, mince pies and early Christmas cheer!

We have a whole host of beautiful new Christmas merchandise to offer you, from twinkling festive decorations to beautiful gifts, there’s sure to be something for everyone.

There will also be the opportunity this year to support our ongoing charity work by purchasing a raffle ticket on the night, all proceeds going directly to charities close to our hearts. You will have the chance to win a selection of prizes including Pink champagne, Beauty treatment vouchers, Afternoon tea for two and many more prizes, but most importantly you will be helping others less fortunate than yourself.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us in the Macmillan Coffee Morning last week. Together, we raised an amazing total of £2581.85 which exceeded the amount we raised last year and will all go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Your generosity was phenomenal, from purchasing raffle tickets, donating beautiful prizes and goods for our charity stalls and baking delicious cakes. Thank you to the wonderful customers who gave up their time to help on the day, from manning the stalls and selling raffle tickets to doing the washing up!

We appreciate all of your help and generosity in contributing to this wonderful event, spent doing things we all love for a really worthy cause – you should all be proud of your contribution to the fantastic total!

Not long to go before we re-open our doors for the new season! After a wonderful and busy summer we’re almost ready to welcome you once again. The Tea Room is gleaming and there will soon be beautiful smells wafting from the Brewery Kitchen once more.

We will be closing for our annual summer holiday on Saturday 28^th July. During the summer we’ll be filling the gift shop with lots of new treasure for the forthcoming season, practicing some lovely new recipes and, of course, dusting down the chandeliers!

We’ll be welcoming you back on Tuesday 4^th September when we open our doors for the new season.
