We will also be opening on Sunday, 17th June 2018 to celebrate Fathers Day and will be offering a special Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea, in addition to our normal High Tea offering. Additional detail to be released soon.

A chance to celebrate Valentine’s Day and experience Brewery Tearooms by candlelight.
From 7pm on Valentine’s day, 14th February, we are offering a 4-course set menu, which includes tea and coffee, at £29.99 p/head. We will be fully licensed to help you celebrate the evening.
Numbers are limited and must be pre-booked.

To celebrate Valentine’s Day (Wednesday, 14 February 2018) we will be hosting a Valentine’s themed High Tea throughout the afternoon. So why not treat your loved one (or failing that – your friend) to a celebratory 3-tier treat.
This is a particularly popular event and we have limited spaces – so reservations are essential at a special price of £22.50 per head, which includes a glass of fizz.
For those of you lovebirds who can’t make a weekday date, we will be offering the Valentine’s High Tea on the Saturday before, the 10th February. Early booking is advisable.

Hope you have had a great festive season and all the best for the New Year.
It is a flurry of busyness here with preparations for our forthcoming re-opening on Tuesday, 16 January 2018 and are looking forward to welcoming you back.
Come in and banish the Winter blues with a steaming hot apple juice or a Baileys latte. Our warming homemade winter soups and cheese scones will await you as well as our delicious homemade cakes and tray bakes.
We are already working on a host of pop up events this year following the sell out success of these during 2017. Our opening event for 2018 will be a Valentine themed High Tea, further detail to be released next week.
In the meantime, back to the Brewery kitchen for some quality control tasting…..!

….beautiful hand-picked gifts and decorations are still arriving on a daily basis here at the Brewery Tearooms. For the early Christmas shoppers amongst you, we’ll be hosting an all day and evening shopping event on Thursday, 30th November.
We will be opening the doors at 9.30am through until 8.30 pm for a fully stocked and sparkly winter grotto of gorgeous gifts, seasonal home ware and beautiful decorations.
To accompany a glass of complimentary mulled wine or spiced apple, we’ll be offering a cheese board for £6.95, along with some sweet treats, from 5.30pm. We’ll also be offering our normal range of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) during the evening. We have limited tables and are taking bookings for those of you who wish to pre-order a cheese board.
All will be by candlelight to ease you into the spirit of Christmas!

By popular demand and to celebrate winning our recent awards, Best Independent Tearoom and Best Customer Service in Hertfordshire, we are proud to host a pop-up Indian tapas evening on Friday, 27 October 2017.
Brewery Tearooms have teamed up with guest chef, Saira Hamilton; MasterChef Finalist, renowned chef, food writer and author of several food related books (for sale and signing on the night).
Saira will be serving a host of Indian street food classics, including chotpoti, dhal bora (v), samosas (lamb & veggie), masala potatoes (move over patatas bravas!), Indian fishcakes, kofte kebabs, Afghan aubergine(v), mango kulfi (v), – price £29.95 per head (three courses) excluding drinks. To compliment the food, we have specially selected a range of cocktails, wines and beers for your enjoyment. A VIP dining area in our summer house is available for those who want a more intimate dining area (seats up to 12 and can be booked exclusively).
