We are delighted to announce that yesterday at the finals of the Visit Herts Tourist Awards, held at Hanbury Manor, we won the ‘Taste and Tell’ category against some stiff competition.
This is our third accolade in 2018, so we are feeling very proud of our wonderful team and customers who make this all happen. Thanks again.

In the lead up to Christmas, in addition to our normal opening hours, we are open on Monday, 17 December from 9.30am to 4pm (last orders). Our last day, before our Christmas break, is Saturday, 22 December 2018, when the community choir will be singing carols from 2pm. All proceeds from this event will be donated to charity.
We re-open in the New Year on Tuesday, 15 January 2018.

Purchase £5’s worth or more of gifts from our shop and you’ll be entered into our draw to win an Afternoon Tea for two (subject to T’s and C’s).
….beautiful hand-picked gifts and decorations are still arriving on a daily basis here at the Brewery Tearooms. For the early Christmas shoppers amongst you, we’ll be hosting an all day and evening shopping event on Thursday, 29th November.
We will be opening the doors at 9.30am through until 8.30 pm for a fully stocked and sparkly winter grotto of gorgeous gifts, seasonal homeware and beautiful decorations.
Cheese boards along with some sweet treats, will be available to purchase from 5.30pm and will be offered with a complimentary glass of mulled wine or spiced apple. Our normal range of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will also be available to purchase. We have limited tables and are taking bookings for those of who wish to pre-order a cheese board.
All will be by candlelight to ease you into the spirit of Christmas!

We have a limited number of tables available for this one off event, at 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Our specially prepared tea will include a selection of finger sandwiches, mini savoury canapés, miniature scones, clotted cream and jam, and a variety of Christmas favourites. Wow, we have had some amazing days over the last nine years, but today was one of the best. Thanks to our amazing team and our lovely customers, we have won two awards for Best Independent Tearoom/Cafe in Hertfordshire and Outstanding Customer Service throughout the food and drink industry in Hertfordshire. We are truly multi award winning and speechless……! Hope to see you at our annual charity event this Friday and Saturday, come and celebrate with us and help raise funds for two great causes……x
We are excited to announce that in addition to our normal events, bric-a-brac, silent auctions, guess the mileage, raffle etc, we have secured a professional photo booth with 60’s props and, most exciting of all, a silent disco that will run from 3pm for around an hour. So not only don those 60’s outfits, let’s see some moves on the disco floor!
